南京农业大学钟山首席教授，博士生导师，江苏省高校“青蓝工程”学术带头人。兼任高等学校本科教学评估专家，农业工程类专业教学指导委员会委员农业电气化专业组成员，全国农机化科技创新专家，中国农业机械学会常务理事，江苏省拖拉机产业技术创新联盟理事长、江苏省现代设施农业技术与装备重点实验室主任、江苏省农机工业协会副会长、江苏省农业机械学会副理事长。长期从事设施农业电动化、轻简化、智能化装备、农业机器人等领域的教学和科研，主持多个国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划等项目，发表研究论文200多篇，其中SCI论文150余篇，授权专利50余件，其中发明专利30余件。 相关成果获得高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖技术发明奖二等奖、江苏省农业科技奖二等奖、江苏省农业技术推广奖二等奖、江苏省农机工业科技奖一等奖等。

He's Zhongshan Chief Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU), and Academic Leader of the "Qinglan Project" for Jiangsu Provincial Higher Education Institutions.

He concurrently serves as Director of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Center for Electric Agricultural Machinery, Chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Industrial Technology Innovation Alliance for Tractors, Director of Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Modern Facility Agricultural Technology and Equipment, Standing Director of the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery (CSAM), Vice President of Jiangsu Provincial Agricultural Machinery Industry Association, and Vice Chairman of Jiangsu Society for Agricultural Machinery.

He has long been dedicated to teaching and research in the fields of electrified, lightweight & simplified, and intelligent equipment for facility agriculture, as well as agricultural robotics. He has led numerous projects including programs funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the National Key Research and Development Program of China. He has published over 200 research papers, including more than 150 SCI-indexed papers, and has been granted over 50 patents, among which more than 30 are invention patents.

His relevant research achievements have earned him honors including the Second Class Award for Technological Invention of the Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Award (Science and Technology) (Ministry of Education of China), Second Class Award of Jiangsu Agricultural Science and Technology Award, Second Class Award of Jiangsu Agricultural Technology Extension Award, and First Class Award of Jiangsu Agricultural Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award.
