
Associate Professor
Conghong Huang, Ph.D. in Ecology, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Resources, Environment, and Urban-Rural Planning at the College of Public Administration, Nanjing Agricultural University. He is also a recipient of the Jiangsu Province "Double Innovation" (Shuangchuang) Doctor Program.
His research primarily focuses on urban landscape ecology, urban green space dynamics and their eco-environmental effects, and urban remote sensing. He has authored over 10 papers as the first or corresponding author in prestigious journals, including Nature Communications (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-026-73015-1), Environmental Science & Technology, Urban Forestry & Urban Greening, International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation, and Environmental Research Letters. Additionally, he has contributed as a co-author to over 30 publications.
He has presided over one project funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province (Youth Project) and has served as a core member of major national research initiatives, such as the Ministry of Science and Technology's project on "Scientific Investigation of Ecological Status and Changes in the Yangtze River Delta Region." Furthermore, he serves as a youth editorial board member for the journal Scientia Geographica Sinica and acts as a peer reviewer for several renowned domestic and international academic journals.
