多年来一直从事作物抗旱耐盐生理及分子机制方面的研究工作。围绕棉花的抗旱耐盐生理及分子调控机理这个核心方向开展研究,在主流期刊上发表研究论文60余篇,主持抗旱耐盐相关课题多项,包括国家自然科学基金青年基金(已结题)、国家自然科学基金面上项目(2022年结题)、江苏省自然科学基金3项(结题2项,在研1项)、国家重点研发等国家级和省级项目,授权发明专利6项,审(鉴)定品种7个。
