Jing Zhang, Ph.D. Associate Professor & Master's Supervisor in College of Agro-Grassland Science, Nanjing Agricultural University. Dr. Zhang completed a two-year joint doctoral program at Rutgers University, USA, as a recipient of the China Scholarship Council (CSC) fellowship. His academic achievements have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Wang Dong Scholarship (Chinese Grassland Society) and the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award (Nanjing Agricultural University). His research focuses on the genetic improvement and regulatory mechanisms underlying stress tolerance, nutritional quality, and yield in perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne). He currently leads 3 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). As first or corresponding (co-corresponding) author, Dr. Zhang has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, including The Plant Journal, Plant Physiology, Horticulture Research, Plant, Cell & Environment, and Journal of Experimental Botany etc.
