主要从事叶螨功能基因组与抗性进化研究，以第一作者在国际著名期刊Communications Biology， Molecular Ecology， Evolutionary Applications，Insect Science，Genomics，Journal of Economic Entomology等发表研究论文8篇。系统揭示了世界性重大农业害虫二斑叶螨的入侵与演化历史，明确其起源于欧洲且在入侵中国时预携多种抗性突变，阐明了其在国内的平行进化规律及人为传播对抗性扩散的强力驱动作用。此外，解析了多食性叶螨之间巨大的表达可塑性差异，驱动了叶螨的寄主范围差异化。主持国家自然科学基金项目1项，江苏省自然科学基金1项。
