长期从事杀虫剂毒理与抗药性机理，昆虫生殖行为与害虫遗传控制等方面的研究。主持国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金项目和面上项目等课题。在Nature Communications, eLife, PLoS Genetics, Insect Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Pest Management Science, Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology等重要国际学术刊物发表SCI论文70余篇，引用。
