主持国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发项目子课题、江苏省自然科学基金等多项项目及课题。在番茄裂果、非生物胁迫;不结球白菜安全高效栽培技术;种子老化和引发;大蒜脱毒快繁和玻璃化机理等方面开展研究工作。与南京雨发农业科技开发有限公司、昆山市玉叶蔬食产业基地、江苏绿港现代农业发展股份有限公司等多家公司合作,进行蔬菜减肥增效及新型栽培技术的示范和推广,获得较好经济、社会、生态效益。
