主要从事大豆杂种优势利用研究，包括：1）大豆育性材料的挖掘和利用；2）利用高通量测序、CRISPR/Cas9基因编辑等技术开展大豆育性调控基因和耐热基因的挖掘和分子机理解析。研究成果以第一作者在Plant Biotechnology Journal、Plant Science、Plant Physiology and Biochemistry等期刊上发表；获授权国家发明专利1项，获批植物新品种权1项；先后主持中国博士后科学基金面上项目和江苏省博士后科研资助计划等项目。主讲《生物统计与试验设计Ⅰ》、《生物统计与试验设计Ⅱ》和《生物统计学》等本科生课程。
