近年来主要围绕小麦高产优质高效栽培理论与技术以及农机农艺融合开展工作。主持国家自然科学基金项目3项、教育部高校博士点基金1项、公益性行业科研专项子课题1项、江苏省农业科技自主创新资金项目1项,企业横向课题1项、校级课题2项;以骨干参加国家科技支撑计划项目、国家现代小麦产业技术体系项目、国家重大农技推广服务试点项目、中央财政农业技术推广项目等多个项目。
