My research focuses on nitrogen (N) use and its biological functions in crops. I aim to identify key genes and clarify their roles in coordinately regulating crop growth periods and nitrogen use efficiency (NUE).

Additionally, I am committed to elucidating the regulatory mechanism by which the interaction between plant roots and rhizosphere microorganisms participates in crop N utilization.

The ultimate goal of these studies is to lay a solid theoretical foundation for the breeding of high-yield and -NUE  crops.
